In Compass Rose Mode the 16 point Compass Rose moves like a gimballed compass on a ship and the compass also shows a numeric bearing for the top of the compass.
To switch to a bearing compass, start Viewfinder Mode by pitching up your phone to the vertical and see the bearing compensated for vertical pitch and roll superimposed on your camera viewfinder (needs camera permission).
Add True North using your declination estimated from your last known position (needs location permission).
If your device has a gyroscope you can set the optional Gyro Assist option to improve smoothness when moving.
Relabel Compass Points . Go large and bold or switch to French, German, Italian, Russian or anything else you can type on your keyboard for your compass points.
